International clients

Slovak law, explained in English.

We are a Slovak law firm advising exclusively on the law of the Slovak Republic. If your business, property, debtor or dispute is in Slovakia, we guide you through the Slovak legal system — in English, mostly remotely.

What we do for you

Typical matters we handle for international clients

Every matter below is governed by Slovak law and handled before Slovak courts, notaries, the land registry and other Slovak authorities.

Buying property in Slovakia

Purchase contracts, title checks in the Slovak land registry (kataster), escrow arrangements so your money is protected, and registration of ownership.

Doing business in Slovakia

Formation of a Slovak s.r.o. (LLC) for foreign founders — fully remote via power of attorney — plus commercial contracts and corporate housekeeping.

Recovering debts from Slovak debtors

Pre-action demands, Slovak payment-order proceedings, litigation and enforcement — a clear, staged process with known costs.

Creditors in Slovak insolvencies

Filing your claim with the Slovak trustee within statutory deadlines, creditor-committee representation and monitoring of the proceedings.

Disputes before Slovak courts

Civil and commercial litigation, enforcement of foreign judgments in Slovakia, interim measures and settlement negotiations.

How it works

Working with us from abroad

1
Video consultation in English

Book a slot online — we discuss your matter, outline the Slovak-law position and agree the next steps.

2
Engagement and power of attorney

You receive an engagement letter and a power of attorney by e-mail. For most matters a simple signed scan is enough; where Slovak authorities require it, we guide you through certification or an apostille.

3
We act in Slovakia for you

We deal with Slovak courts, notaries, the land registry and public authorities on your behalf. Personal attendance is rarely required.

4
Transparent fees

A fixed fee agreed up front for defined matters; invoices in EUR with bank transfer. No hourly surprises.

One important limitation

We advise exclusively on the law of the Slovak Republic. We do not advise on the law of your home country — where your matter touches another jurisdiction, we work alongside your local counsel.
